Watts 0163754 is a bronze automatic reseating temperature and pressure relief valve. Connection size is 1", it has a test lever and 7-inch thermostat. The pressure relief is 100 psi.
The Series 40, 40XL Automatic Reseating Temperature and Pressure Relief Valves are made of bronze material providing durability. The valves consist of MNPT inlet and FNPT outlet connections. The model 40L thermostat is directly installed in tank tapings while model 40XL does have an extension thermostat installed in the hot water outlet within the top of the tank. They are ASME rated and CSA listed. Applicable in water heaters, used to provide protection to hot water supply tanks and hot water heaters from excessive pressure and excessive temperature.
Note: Reinspection of Temperature and Relief Valve should be done once every 3 years.
