The Maxitrol M420RH-1/2 Modular Valve is used for Atmospheric Burners with 1/2 PSI Inlet Pressure Max and low fire by-pass adjustment on the right side for LP Gas Applications. This modulating valve has a 1/2" NPT connection.
Maxitrol Modulating Valves are designed to provide balance heating temperature, non-fluctuating, precise, and instantaneous temperature control without the need for a motor or butterfly valve. Inconsistent temperature is no more a problem with the use of Maxitrol Modular Valve for it features stabilized and maintains temperature consistently. The M420H is CSA certified in compliance with nationally published safety, construction, and performance standards.
This Modular Valve is applicable to the following gases: Natural, Manufactured, Mixed, Liquefied Petroleum, and Liquefied Petroleum Gas Air Mixtures. The M420H has a wider modulation span for use with LP (liquid propane gas) and other applications. Should be mounted in an upright position in a horizontal pipe run, downstream of all other controls except high-pressure cut-off switch if used.
